The Core Youth

The Core is for ages 13 through 18.  We are focused on loving and instructing students toward the heart, or core, of Jesus. The mission of The Core is centered around Jeremiah 20:9, "His word burns in my heart like a fire. It's like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in!." (NLT)

We see this generation longing to satisfy an empty place inside. While the world cannot fill it, Jesus can. Our students are geared toward making their hearts look like his and reaching outside the church to preach the Gospel. If you are looking for a loving, energetic, and Holy Spirit filled environment to begin or grow in your walk with God please join us on Sunday nights at 6:00 & Wednesday nights at 7:00.

Core Drama Team

"But the time is coming-indeed it's here now-when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way". - John 4:23 (NLT)

  Worshiping the Lord is a key component to our student ministry. In the Core Drama Team some of our students  focus on growing in their relationship with God through dance and drama. They not only minister during services at MCC, but are also available for other community events.
